Tyrion went from the smartest character to the dumbest. This development could have worked, except Tyrion’s arc was to overcome adversary and be a leader. He needed to be smarter than most, because without that, he’s a sarcastic, alcoholic.

So naturally, the show took it’s best (or top 3 at worst) character and made him a dick joke spewing failure. Fantastic.
